An exhibitor MUST PRESENT A CURRENT CARD OR PURCHASE MEMBERSHIP before they can show. Amateur certifications CAN now be obtained at the show. Exhibitors in Novice Amateur and Novice Youth classes must have a card showing “N” in membership number. See AQHA rule 102, 402, 403 and 404.

AWARDS First through sixth place. Grand and Reserve Mare, Gelding and Stallion to receive show ribbon. Halter Grand and All-around trophies available through AQHA. High Point Awards to be tabulated on a basis of nine or more in a class: 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1: eight in a class: 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 etc. Points accumulated throughout the show. TIE BREAKERS: 1) Greatest number of first places; 2) Highest placing over greatest number of horses; 3) Tiebreaker judge.

CIRCUIT AWARDS must show under all judges to be eligible. Classes shown to fewer than 5 judges will receive a comparable award.

SELECT AMATEUR may compete in an Amateur class if no select class is available in that event.
Points earned in those events count toward the All Around Award.

PERFORMANCE HALTER CLASSES require proof of AQHA Performance ROM. An exhibitor may not enter the corresponding halter class.

STALLIONS may not be shown in novice youth, youth or novice amateur classes.

SAQHA and its show management will in no case be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur. It will be a condition of entry that the exhibitor will hold SAQHA and its show management and personnel blameless for any loss or sickness to his horse(s) or equipment which may occur from sickness, fire, theft, or otherwise.

ANY CHECKS RETURNED to show management as “insufficient funds” will be assessed an additional $30 office charge. Be aware of AQHA Rule 105(e).
